Qantas Airways flys the very long nonstop from DFW to SYD, covering 8569 miles one way. It departs Dallas at 7:45pm in the early evening and arrives in Sydney 2 days later at 6:05am local time, a 17 hour and 20 minute flight! Especially cool is that the Airbus A380-800 double decker aircraft is often used on this route. While this is a very long flight, there are even longer flights from America / see our next posts.
Unlike some other countries with language barriers, a trip to Australia for Westerners can be quite easy since signs are easily read as thay are written in English. And with a great airline and comfortable seat the long flight there can go by quickly.
